I use a Cakewalk V-S 20.

The included Boss guitar effects are worth the money alone, and it's nice to be able to fiddle with a knob when I'm using X2.

Marcus, do you know whether the converters in the VS-100 as good as the ones in the V-Studio 700? How well does it integrate with X2? Thanks, Jonathan

It has the same converters as the VS-700, which are great! It integrates very nicely...I got mine from Sam Ash for 250....they were having a sale...might want to see if it's still available...
