Greetings,
I am looking for recommendations for an updated (VST-3?) delay plug-in, to use mostly with vocals.
Stereo/ping options are great; must have tempo delay function
Basically, something like the old Cakewalk "Tempo Delay" but perhaps with an updated engine, etc.
Suggestions?

What about the BT Delay in Sonar?  The Waves H-Delay may be on sale right now.  It's worthy.

Does the Wave Delay require an iLok?

I use the delay in the VX-64 Vocal Strip because of how you can manipulate the filtering for the feedback, and combine delay with the stereo doubling option.

i know you said you want VST 3 but why not use the sonitus delay ?
I know its DX and old but it still does the job and kicks asphalt.
I have Waves Manny delay but I still use the sonitus loyally on vocal tracks.

running a pretty professional set up here and im not ashamed to admit it,
that sonitus delay just works.
it reminds me of this old 1980's Digitech RDS 1900 I used to have. (still do)
it wasn't quality but it was versatile and as far as tools go (every plug in is a tool)
I could do anything with it. stereo delay, ping pong, chorus, flange.

What Chuckebaby said.

The Sonitus FX suite has been my go-to for years now.

Slightly O/T, but the doubler in VX-64 is my go-to and has been for years. Better than the Waves version even.
