Forgive me if this has already been covered, but I've just jumped on the $10 expanded thing and don't have all the extra modules for PC. So, which preset package should I be looking at? Not the expanded one? Thanks.

Same question here...(Although I did download all the Expanded presets, but haven't tried any yet). I would "assume" if I didn't have a certain PC module, the preset that uses that module won't work? Roight?

Anyone care to share presets with the Softube Mix bundle? I will be uploading a few after I hash out my "standards"

On another note, the PC has eleminated a bunch of mess from my workflow. For anyone looking for a professional shine without selling your soul, the softube mix bundle and the concrete limiter is just about all you need to make a really solid mix/master. I have to say, if you can upgrade to the Softube Mix and find a cheap UAD-1 card with either the 1073 or Harrison, you are set. That combo works in the professional audio world.

Now, when is the quadcurve coming? Any plans to "expand" the PC mods to more Softube stuff? I imagine if the Tube-Tech channel comes out for PC I will pass out. When I wake up, I will buy it and then head over to Gearslutz to watch the frenzy of "born-again" cake lovers!

PS If you need a Beta tester for any PC stuff, let me know! :-)

The presets are great but a couple of the Pro Channel presets are crashing Sonar.  I can load the preset, but when I press play Sonar crashes.  The ones that crash for me are the Snare Punch and the Hi Hat definition.  The kick and bass work fine.  I haven't tried all of them.
Those 2 along with guitar- modern for me...every time.
I should add that guitartrek gave me a great workaround in another thread; take a screen cap of the plug before hitting play and then make your own preset.

I get lots of crashes too. Is it perhaps that I don't have Expanded?
Very cool idea tho.. Excellent results and great learning experience.

I'm still hoping cake starts sorting these by date so I know what I have and don't. The last time I checked, they were mixed in alphabetically...  grrrrrr

yes a date would be great, Alphabetical order would be nice or by date added.  A Rating system on the side to let you know which ones people like or don't or a number of how many time it has been downloaded.  All very nice add ons to the list if you ask me.

Could someone send me an email with an attachment that has all the presets in a single folder?
I am really averse to ultra repetitive tasks like this.
I'll be your best friend!
