I just checked it out with SONAR Platinum, same build, Windows 7, however my system is 64-bit and the TS-64 shows up in both tracks and buses.

You mentioned doing a re-scan, but did you do a reset and re-scan? Choose Edit > Preferences > VST Settings and under Scan Options, click on Reset. Then re-scan. Circle back and let us know if that worked for you or not.

I did the reset and scan and afterwards, the Transient Shaper was no longer listed in my list of plugins.  I even went into the Cakewalk Plug-in Manager and viewed the registered plugins under the heading "VST Audio Effects (VST)" and the Transient Shaper was no longer there either.

I am wondering if we have an issue with yours being 64bit and mine being 32bit.

I'm running 32 bit, as well. Have a session going on so I can't try anything out yet.

Transient Shaper was updated with the last installer of Boutique FX. It's working for me on 64 bit, but maybe the 32 bit version of the DLL is not. So, try a roll back, if you need the plugin, and report the problem to Cakewalk, so they can look for it.

That's it.  I rolled back to version 1.0.0.7 of Boutique FX, did a VST reset/scan and then was able to insert TS64.

I Backed up the TS64 DLL, Re-updated to version 1.0.0.9 of Boutique FX, could not insert TS64.  Restored just version 1.0.0.7 of the TS64 DLL file, I was able to insert.

So, looks like on a 32bit system, the update to version 1.0.0.9 of Boutique FX borks the Transient Shaper 64

I have lodged a problem report CWBRN-33702

Meanwhile, you can [probably use the Transient Shaper in the PX-64. It's not quite as flexible, but it comes really close.

More importantly, why isn't the CCC telling me that those components were updated? There's no yellow light indicating a change and I've still got the original boutique effects. How did others get the updated package?

There were updates to the Boutique and Engineering Fx Suites as indicated in the Everett eZine and also in my case in the CCC. I don't know what to suggest.

In both those suites a few plugins had been reported as causing audio spikes for some users.

Thanks Mudgel, I think I'd best let sleeping dogs lay. Strange that CCC showed nothing but it's under construction so I'll check again in a month.

One last question before I assume it's some kind of bug. After you re-updated to version 1.0.0.9 of Boutique FX, did you do the reset+re-scan? It would need to be done right after an update to make a difference. Not saying you haven't found a problem, but it might be worth one last shot of re-install + reset + rescan.

I did indeed do the reset+re-scan right after the re-update to version 1.0.0.9
