ok, I did what you said and it works great. Before I was having to clone the tgrack, change the midi channel on tghe keyboard, then change the sound by using the keyboard. This is way better. everything is layed out before me. thanks so much Beagle

How many midi and audio tracks are you allowed?

can I use the audio effect tracks on the midi tracks. maybe if I sendthe output to a bus?

I don't remember the limitation on MIDI and AUDIO tracks for MC - maybe someone else does. there is a limitation, but IIRC you shouldn't have problems.

you can use AUDIO FX on the MIDI "OTHER" track - the other track that gets added when you insert a softsynth - that's an audio track. you can also do it with buses but you have to use the sends FROM that "OTHER" track.

wow, I have forgot all this. I'm trying to get this going again. Are you guys still on here? so if I wanted to add reverb to just the snare and  toms, How would I go about doing that? would I send the snare and toms to a bus that has reverb on it? I'm using MC7

Ok I think I may have figured it out. I went to my second drumtrack which was the snare and inserted an fx of reverb then adjusted to my liking. I'm thinking that if there is a way to send to a bus it might be better. IDK

hi Kevin - yes, i'm still here, but I don't show up on the forums near as often as I used to!  how are you doing?

yes, setting up a bus with reverb on it at 100% wet, then using sends from the snare and toms to that bus is exactly how i would do it.  you can control the amount of verb you add to those two kit pieces with the SEND LEVEL.  it's pretty simple to do.

I'm good Reece. Just trying to get back into this. Trying to remember the things I forgot and learn the new. I finally have a setup and a place where I can record which is great. I'll have to experiment with the reverb sends, doesn't sound too hard. Is there a certain built in reverb with Music Creator 7 you recommend? or actually any vst reverb's you recommend? Thanks for saying hi.
