Hi all,
at Cakewalk, we strive hard to use appropriate terminology in our localized versions; however, sometimes the occasional ineffective translation finds a way to slip in and quietly propagate.

So, if you are aggravated by a translation that is not correct or not quite appropriate for the music Industry, we want to hear from you. Please, be sure to
  1. Include screenshots of the offending dialog, if you can; or at least, as many examples containing the problematic term as you can
  2. Explain why the current translation does not work for you
  3. Provide your alternate suggestion
We will discuss each case and, in due course, implement any suggestion that we agree with.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Stefano Bellezza

About the French version, the translation seems to be made by someone who really knows the computer music field. It's really appreciated. I have not seen a major problem about the terminology. Sometimes I am embarrassed because there are some technical terms that I understand better in English than in French, but after a small Google search it's better!

When I want to focus on my music, it is nice to be able to work with a software in my own language. Thank you Cakewalk.
