Celestion is having a contest that involves mixing guitar IRs. I though I'd try to do something a bit creative with it and use MConvolutionMB to mix them in slightly unconventional ways. I didn't go too wild with the mixes here, but of course you could using some of these techniques. Hope you enjoy.

Very cool.

I am getting into this myself and it feels like the future of recorded amp tones if finally here.

i still like the sound of my cab, with my speaker, in my room, captured with my mic,
better than any IR i've heard to date.

YMMV

The difference being ... you have a room ... in my apartment complex the neighbors tend to frown on both miking cabs, and, oddly enough, doing fretwork! Lol.

Its nice to have a amp, cab and room you like, but I think for many people what they have doesn't meet their needs, so they have to use IRs.

Management at my apartment complex knows instantly where the trouble is coming from too ... there just aren't any other guitar freaks that solder up amps kits in their apartment like I do. It's an instant bust the moment my amp goes past 2!

But I did an entire album there! The neighbors were none the wiser ...

Nice. I'm almost in the same situation. To make matters worse I have a kid and so do the neighbors on both sides of me.

You can quite easily make an IR of your setup and stop micing your cab. It will simplify your process.
