John, I mostly support and appreciate your posts but just felt you showed a bit of hyprocisy on this one. In as much as I don't know CAKES business model numbers, I don't think you can say with certainty that your MYTH suppositions are correct either, unless you have inside info, to which could you please share.
I am not sure how the term hypocrisy applies. Its used to say a person is saying one and doing another. Even if I am wrong there is no hypocrisy involved.

I think John has been one of the first people to criticize these questiontion threads on lifetime upgrades he doesn't like or agree with but now when he open pandoras box, he has a hard time admitting that he could have worded his point of view better.
It isn't criticism its correcting bad information.

His MYTH statements are as bad as others suppositions in that they are the same thing. This is a dead horse and I think we all have pretty much agreed that until CAKE clears up all these questions either with "time" or "clarification announcements, that everything is a GUESS.
The fact is the myths as I posted them are beliefs held by people that are untrue. Isn't that what a myth is?

Now, in business, the one thing you never want to do is say one thing now and do something different later. You will get labeled a LIAR... it is far more advantageous to leave some ambiguity out there until you actually start the new program and adjust once you see real results.
There is no ambiguity except by some that insist on posing inaccurate information and causing confusion.
So, lets all just wait and see what happens and until then keep the "BLIND FAITH".
The reason I posted the OP was I read everything I could on the subject to get a full understanding of it. What I found was in complete disagreement with what many people were posting as fact. I thought I would post clear and easy to understand rebuttals to those false statements. There is no blind faith in any of this.

PS - another reason I have faith beyond the CAKEWALK statements is that I have been a long time reader of Craig A's articles (all the way back to EM days until now) and he has demonstrated that he is a stand up, knowledgeable guy. I would n't be surprised if this lifetime upgrade thing might have been one of his "ideas".
