Hi, and welcome to this forum. How are you trying to change the tempo? Which version of SONAR do you have? The more info you give, the easier it is to help.
All the best.

Sonar 7 producer. I never had to mess with it before. So if I pout the tempo to 180, the clicks on the metronome stay at 120. No matter where I put my tempo. Its like its not reading the internal clock

The metronome will play at the tempo showing in the Tempo icon.
Sounds like your changing the tempo and it's changing back.
This could be either your not changing the tempo and saving it, or there's a tempo set already.
Open the tempo map and see what it say's.

That is the problem . The Metronome is NOT playing with the tempo

Example: Everything says 108. And yet when I hit record, the metronome stays at 120

Could you post a link to a screenshot. You cannot (IIRC) post a screenshot / image until posted at least 25 posts.
All the best.

Or even a link to the project

If the tempo shows 108 then how do you know the metronome is 120?  That's what I was getting at. There's no indicator for the metronome other than the Tempo indicator. So did you look at the tempo map?
