I have searched the forum but cannot find an answer to this.

I have X2a Producer on my laptop and I would like to audition some of the sounds and programs in Rapture & Dimension Pro when I am away from my desktop machine.  However I cannot find a way to audition the sounds other than connecting a midi keyboard.

I have tried a 'virtual' keyboard, but the associated virtual midi port program (that gives 4 ports) only works on 32 bit systems, and the 64 bit offering doesn't want to work on my system.

Is there any other way to audition the sounds without connecting a midi keyboard?

Gary, You'll can load or create a midi file. Yo can load a midi file from the browser and set the output to your synth. You could also create a midi part in the piano view. If you get a midi part going and loop it you can audition sounds until your hearts content. I hope this helps.

Rocky, you're a star.  Why didn't I think of that?  I have loads of midi files I could use.  Thanks very much!

The standalone versions of the synths can use you PC keyboard for input.
