The track header should indicate there is/are not more than one lane.
I should NOT have to open the track to try to see a slightly blue glow of an icon not near the track expansion gadget.
How about the track's double arrow glowing BRIGHT blue?

Unfortunately, the double arrow is visible only when Auto Track Zoom (Shift+Z) is disabled. But I agree that a better indication of existing lanes is needed. I want the Expand/collapse Take Lanes button to light up a bit brighter when there are two or more lanes.

Yes, a good, clear indication would be very welcome. Plain and obvious, no squinting required.
