Yes, I am.

edited my earlier post to add more info.
I believe (but not positive) the wdmaud.drv  indicates your system is using a WDM driver for something which could possibly cause a conflict. can you think of any other programs your using that is sharing / using WDM ?

there is the option in sonar to use but you should be using ASIO and the supplied driver from Roland.
I believe its this one: http://www.roland.com/support/by_product/studio-capture/updates_drivers/350780

what I did not see in this log was "Asio". so give a double check for that and double check your not in a usb 3 port.

Do you happen to have Windows Default Audio Device set to use your audio interface's ASIO drivers?

Do the crashes happen to the same project, or to multiple projects?

If you take a failing project and open it in Sonar's Safe Mode - and skip the loading of ALL effects plugins, does the project still fail? (Don't save the project this way - it is just to test to see if something with the effects is causing the issues)

Is there any set of steps you can suggest we try to see if we can replicate the issue on our computers?

I'm using Roland's driver for the Studio Capture.  Worked fine with X3.  Crashing is only happening with one project so far.  I don't have time to do much troubleshooting.  The project is not very big.  Only has about 16 tracks, no midi, not using tons of effects, all real analog instruments.  Recorded at 48k 24bit.

Hi. I just wondered which 3rd party plugins you might be using? It could be an issue with a plugin of some sort?
All the best.

I'm only using whatever comes with Sonar Platinum. Nothing else.

Have you submitted any crash dumps? If you list the CWBRN number we may be able to see whats causing the crash for you.

After some of the crashes, a dialog pops up telling me that the crash is going to be sent to Cakewalk. It says I can enter my email address to be notified so I submit it.  Then there's a link to view the error submission on the site in my account, but when I click the link it takes me to Cakewalk's site and says there are no incidents.  Obviously this process has not been fleshed out yet.

All three crashes are in Softube's SaturationKnob.dll which is a prochannel module.
We can pass this info on to the developer but it will be useful if you attach the project file in question to one of the bug reports. There may be something specific about that project that causes is to crash.

To get past the crash you may be able to load the project in safe mode and skip that plugin.

Where can I find the bug report to attach the project to?
