Whenever I take off the FX enable button on this one song, Platinum begins to studder badly.  When I reengage the FX button everything is fine.   Here is the problem I have deleted all FX off of the tracks/busses, etc... and I am still getting the same thing happening.

So:  All the FX have been cleared from the song.  It is not my ASIO setting I have adjusted it up higher and lower trying different rates.  Everything I have recorded is good but now I need to apply some FX, compression, etc... like I had when the problem initially presented itself - again all FX deleted/removed from the  song.  Yet, I can not get the song to play without the FX button engaged meaningly to bypass all FX even though there are none in the song?????????

Not complaining - just seeking a solution for the song....

Hi. Are there any particular plugins in that project? Open in safe mode to exclude potential plugin culprits? Did this start recently? Have you tried to do a save as, moving the project to a new folder? Is everything up to date?
Sorry if this is obvious
All the best.

Great questions and trust I don't mind the inquiry.  Yes, I have taken all the plugins out of the project.  It is only happening with this one song.  I did do a save as, moving the project to a new folder - yet - it is still doing the same thing.   I am up to date with Sonar Platinum and I believe I am up to date with Windows 7,  Just this one song..

Check that you don't have any ProChannel FX engaged.
