correct question would be, is your audio interface ready for Windows 10? because that's what really matters most - drivers,
from my own experience I can say RME drivers work well on Windows 10, on the other hand I am very dissatisfied with Windows 10 so far (using it only at work, not on my private workstation, staying with Windows 7 till its end which is supposed to be in january 2020) as it's basically fukcing up my audio and video drivers, file associations, ramdisks, system settings and plenty other stuff basically with every system update (using insider fasting ring releases, so it's indeed publicly not recommended, but I think it's worth seeing what's coming up next),
also if you don't have SSD and at least 4GB ram, then don't even bother upgrading, your PC will not handle Windows 10 well

I'd avoid an actual upgrade of your hard drive with Win 7 installed, and install 10 on a fresh hard drive. You just need the serial that came with Win 7 and any Win 10 install disc will work for any level of 10, or download an ISO from MS. You can even boot the MS install from a thumb drive, you don't have to burn a disc.

This is the main thing.  Windows 10 has been out long enough...If your interface supports it, go for it.  If it does not, consider changing interfaces.  With Windows 7 getting a little old, it is just a matter of time before support for it runs out...

heck out what Noel is saying here...

Only on SSD? That's just silly - windows 10 runs just fine on a standard HDD.

Loving Windows 10! Although, I have had an issue with the drivers for my Studio-Captures not wanting to play nice with other DAWs than SPlat.

I upgraded last week, and although a bit painful, all is well. The upgrade from 7 Home premium didn't work - it gave me error messages, so instead I did a clean install from a USB stick. This of course meant re-installing everything including Sonar (which I upgraded at the same time from X3 to Platinum life-time), Komplete 10, and my AKAI plug-ins.

The only hiccup was that my Tranzport needed to be installed in compatibility mode, because the driver is not Win 10 ready (and never will be).  My Focusrite 2i4 installed without a hitch.

My upgrade was flawless. I bought a new Focusrite 18i20 because I knew it had support for Win 10. After I upgraded I found out the Tascam us-1200 that I had actually worked also although there was no support. Very Happy with the upgrade to Win 10.

My experience has been that newer desktop systems are no problem. Laptops not so, Seems laptops never update drivers to new OS. This has been my observation going way back. So you tend to losse things like battery management, card readers and the web camera.
My DAW is still on W8.1 and I'm also reluctant to fix what ain't broke but I guess I'll go ahead next month just before the deadline.
But my Daw laptop will stay w7 until it dies.

I moved form v7/8 to v10 on my work desktop, my DAW, two notebooks and a Surface. All have been better on v10 than they were on previous platforms.

Also, even though UAD doesn't officially support w10, my UAD platform has been much more stable on v10 than on 8.

It was wise to wait. I upgraded too early and rolled back - no printers seen, 'spiky' text fonts - appalling.  I tried again about five months ago and all was well, so they'd obviously fixed a lot.  (Edge still has spiky fonts so I switched to Google Chrome.)  I'd go for it, after all it's inevitable...

I'm glad I waited too. I switched 4 months ago with no problems, except the usual upgrade problems, which were far less than any other upgrades. The thing that really convinced me was the fact that I can have a dual boot system with the old OS as long as I want, not the one month restriction on rolling back using control panel.
