Hello everyone,
I have a strange problem with Sonar,
I have one recording workstation (RME Fireface 802, ASIO) and one mixing/mastering workstation (RME HDSPe AIO, ASIO),
when I setup track inputs, record tracks, save;
then open project on second PC, mix the tracks, find out something would be worth re-recording, save it;
then open the edited project on first PC - track inputs are messed up routed somewhere else seemingly randomly ?!
is there a way to lock the input routing, or such feature missing in Sonar completely?
thanks in advance

It is saving on the second pc that is the issue. Sonar will remember the inputs that are set when the project is saved. When you open the file on the second PC, the original inputs are no longer present unless you are using an identical interface and I/O setup, so Sonar assigns what is available. It then stores those new inputs when you save the file. When you return to the first PC...well...you get the picture:)

so it's not possible to lock non-existing inputs? pity :/
