After inserting a Melodyne Region FX in Platinum, 2016.5 and tuning the clip, right-click the area and Convert to Stereo. Nothing appears to happen, but if you then Bounce to Clip Sonar hangs.
 
Why do I want to Convert to Stereo? I DON'T, but the Bounce to Clip and Convert to Stereo are close together and if you miss by a few pixels you're doing one instead of the other!

Instead, try clicking on the top/end of the clip and choose "Render Region FX".  I find this to be the quickest way to get to the same end result.  
 
 

I mapped CTRL+B to "bounce to clip", much faster for me than right-mousing a menu.

Of course that doesn't solve the bug. Apparently Melodyne is bringing out an update soon that should fix some crashes. No telling if this one will also be fixed until it arrives I guess.
