Since the interface has been changed in Sonar Artist 2016.05, how do you access the scale quantisation feature when using virtual instruments. The midi tab is missing from the channel strip.
The midi tab and the scale quantisation is however still available if you create a midi channel.
This means you have to create a midi track and separate virtual instrument track if you wish to use the scale quantisation feature making the whole procedure less streamlined and more awkward.

Instrument tracks have both audio and MIDI tabs in Platinum. I would expect Artist does too. To access the MIDI portion of the inspector, click the MIDI tab pointed to by T in this image from http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Inspectors.3.html#1220713

Thanks for your quick response.
Your picture shows as it used to be in all the older versions, I have the latest black skinned version with the slightly different channel strips and the split tab as you show (T in illustration) is no longer present.
When you create a midi track the scale quantise is available. However, when instrument track is created it has only the same channel strip as an audio track.

Hi, must have been a glitch as I have closed and re-opened project and now the split tab is available.
Maybe because I started project in earlier version.
Thanks for help anyway.
