just trying to get started with AD.
In the song I am working on, when i drop beats in from AD, some of the hits are missing, seemingly randomly, like the 3rd, 4th, 5th snare beats and some hihats.
The beats show up in both the Step Sequencer and the Piano Roll View.
I am synching to the tempo of the song in X3- is the synch dropping out?
Very strange, anybody else seen this, or any suggestions?

Yes. It's a fairly common problem, actually.
The MIDI prepare buffer is smaller by default in X3 than it was in previous editions. Try increasing it to 500ms.
This won't increase latency, it just gives the synth room to work. It's not unique to AD.
Also, if you are using your built-in sound card, this is a typical symptom. If you are using an interface, you might try increasing the latency a little bit.
But try increasing the MIDI prepare buffer first. That is the prime suspect.
