I have recently upgraded to a new (OK, used) PC and upgraded from Sonar 4 to Platinum. After going through a bit of trouble with drivers and my old interface (MOTU 2408mk3), I now am beginning to suspect that it still may not work with platinum. If this is correct, I am obviously going to need a new interface.
Any suggestions on the old MOTU or is there a list of interfaces that are known to be compatible with Platinum?
( New PC is an i7 with 8gb memory)

for your interface it's all about the drivers, so make sure you're using the recommended motu asio driver for your os (win10?)

I have the the same interface...no issues whatsoever...I'm on Win 7, though, so I can't speak to Win 10...I'm just waiting for OSX so I can finally dump Microsoft!

Thanks for the responses. Forgot to mention "Win 7". Drivers are the latest from MOTU. I suspect it is operator error on my part, or just ignorance.
After some re-evaluation of my plans I have decided to leave the MOTU with my older PC in a rehearsal studio where I actually need the I/O capacity and just buy a new, smaller interface for my new PC. Any suggestions on a 4in/2- or 4-out model that is compatible with Platinum?
I'm sure I will be back with more questions, as I will be doing things I have not done in the past, particularly using virtual instruments.

Hi. Tascam, Focusrite, Presonus, RME and Motu all makes good interfaces with the specs you are after.
I can vouch for the quality of RME, but they are a bit more expensive. 
It would come down to your budget.
