I'd like a little guidance please. SampleTank Max Upgrade is $150 right now. Syntronik Full crossgrade is also $150 (although credits could be used for it). When I look thru the included instruments it appears everything in Syntronik Full is also in SampleTank Max. So, why would someone buy Syntronik Full when they can buy the SampleTank Max Upgrade and use Syntronik Free. Can the instruments included in SampleTank Max be used in Syntronik Free? Will this work?

Thoughts?

Things may have changed, but I bought ST Max last year.  NONE of the Syntronik instruments were part of that.  I added Syntronik when it was released.

When you buy Syntronik, you can use the Syntronik interfaces but can also use the instruments in the ST3 interface - with some limitations.

In my installation, it is NOT possible to use the ST3 instruments via Syntronik.

Oh, maybe I see the issue. When I call up the Custom Shop and select SampleTank > Not Purchased Sounds, I see all the Syntronik sounds come up. This led me to believe they were part of SampleTank. But when I go to the SampleTank Max webpage, I do not see any mention of those sounds. So now I'm thinking you're correct.

Where you see that?
ST3 description has the statement:
17 additional Syntronik instruments collections
But it is a bit misleading, they are not included into ST3 but can work there in case you have them, as "Syntronik" package or individually.

For some reason I can't seem to post links any more, I just lose my post.  Frustrating.

The Syntronik instruments are not included in SampleTank MAX, though.

Edit - please forgive me if my post sounded "short" and please know that the brevity had nothing to do with anybody in this thread.  I had just composed a longer message only to lose it (as I have seen happen recently so shame on my for not copy/pasting) so that's the source of some mild frustration.

Many users have that periodically. And the second (short and written with frustration) attempt is sometimes perceived not as it should be. So at least some part of the community understand your feeling

Get the Syntronik crossgrade,  you should not regret it.  Have the full SampleTank 3 as well as Syntronik and it is a good collection.  It is nice that you can add Syntronik synths to SampleTank multis.

It would be very cool if IK make it possible to add SampleTank instruments to Syntronik!!!
