CBB Playhead and time stuck!??(Solved)

The playhead and time just freezes after hitting play but the audio stil plays fine, anybody else experiencing this? Solution? Thoughts?
This is with the Cakewalk by Bandlab version from 4/4/18, all else appears to be working.
For those checking here the stall and playhead freezing seem to be solved by turning off "Use Hardware Sample Position" in configuration file under options

Have you tried pressing the scroll lock button on your keyboard? That locks and unlocks the playhead.

Yes, it did nothing unfortunately. They move for a split second and thats it.

Strangly enough hut somehow i knew this was going to happen, choosing the MME driver appears to show the playhead now moving so it sounds like an ASIO driver issue.

Did it to me, changed buffer from 64 to128 and now working as normal. Not sure what that tells me but I was in record mode trying to record guitar when it stuck.

Wasapi shared was the best i could get from the post, lost a few Milliseconds though, guess that will have to do for now, thanks

Fixed it!! LoL too simple... turned off "Use Hardware Sample Position" in configuration file
