I installed new 3.2.0 full version.  Having the same problem as 3.1.6 where TH3 inserted as an effect in an audio channel will receive controller changes but not program changes from an associated Midi track.  So I reverted back to 3.0.5 which has always worked for me (VST2 I think).  The new version is VST3 and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it.  Also wondering if anybody at Overloud or Cakewalk tests program changes.  I've tried every which way I can think of to add it to a track and configure it - setting options etc.  The standalone 3.2.0 version works fine.  Has anyone been able to get program changes working with new 3.2.0 full version?

Are you using th3 as a soft synth? I can send everything to TH3 that way.

It should not be necessary to configure the plug-in as a synth but would be necessary to select "Enable MIDI Input" in the standard header drop down for the plug-in to accept MIDI data.

I have no plans to use TH3 until they reintroduce the Smart Knobs. Still can't believe they took those out.

I liked those things too, but there was a bit of a learning curve.

Yes, I've tried every combination of "Enable as plugin" and "Configure as synth" and also made sure Enable Midi Input was checked.  The fact that controllers can get thru but not program changes is what stumps me.  I can see the wah-wah going up and down as I send it controllers but nothing with program changes.

Could you tell me the steps you go thru to insert track(s)?  The only way I know how is to insert TH3 as an effect in an audio track.  The audio track input is set to audio from my audio interface guitar input and set output to audio interface output.  Then create a midi track with output pointing to TH3 in the audio track and input from my midi program change footswitch with proper midi channel- or I just change patch with Patch drop down.  I keep wondering if there is a way to do this all in one track with an instrument track.  Thanks.

Wasn't there an offer when TH3 Cakewalk was released to upgrade for $149? I seem to recall some complaints that was too high compared to what discounters priced the upgrade from the full version of TH2. Not sure what one had to do with the other. Maybe Cakewalk will have a better deal at the end of the year.

Yep, I upgraded to TH3 full version for £132 GBP

There's an offer from Time + Space.com to upgrade from TH2 for72.95 euros ($82.09).

Just beware if you install the TH3 update it will not by default install in the folder that Cakewalk installed the original.
