When I open in Platinum version 22.5.0 build 45 [2016.05] x64 for a project I last worked on in Platinum 2016.04, I find text names of some of the plugin's controls listed under the plugin in the Inspector view FX bin. However the text does not appear in the Console view FX bins. I've attached a link to a screenshot showing both the Inspector and the Console for the song.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm guessing it's a bug, but don't know. I checked and the text is displayed for both plugins that come with Platinum and third-party plugins.

BTW, I wanted to upload the screenshot from my PC (Gallery) but no options were available. Does anyone know how I get that to work? Also, I had to copy and paste the link to the photo. The insert link dialog didn't appear to work either. Any suggestions? I'm new to this.

Thanks.

Upload  your picture to Photobucket or similar  sites and then you can embed the link  within the post.  Your message link has a strange ?dl-0  at the end
Many would not want to download as that looks strange????

Thanks fitzj. I used Dropbox. I think the strange ?dl-0 was my attempt to use the photo download dialog. The link embedded in the post works for me and allows me to see and download the screenshot. Did that work for you?

To turn assignable control display on or off:

Inspector:Module Options>FX>Show Assignable Controls

Console:Console View Menu>Options>FX>Show Assignable Controls

BTW, right-click on the assignable control to choose which control on the plugin it is assigned to.

Thanks rmfegley. So it's a feature not a bug! Good to know.

SONAR is so easy to customize and has so many configurable parameters and controls that can be automated. I wonder is anyone knows them all? I keep the pdf reference guide open and do a lot of searching. In this case like many other, I was stumped because I didn't know what I was looking for. I knew the text was a module control, but I didn't catch the connection to "assignable controls."

Thanks again.

Yeah, there are a lot of customizable options everywhere. I learned this one myself just a couple of months ago, when I noticed the opposite of what you were viewing. I had them visible in the console but not in the inspector, so I poked around until I found it. Also, the new help module has been quite useful in drawing my attention to options and shortcuts in the interface that I was unaware of before.

Yea, I should have looked longer.
