I like SONAR on my PC.

Me too.  And I liked Cakewalk long before Gibson came along.  Not a ding on Gibson at all.

I'm guilty as the next man of having a glass half empty mentality when it comes to suppliers but I can say unreservedly that my glass is 7/8ths full with Cake / Gibson.

Wait... there's a "glass"?

Yep - that other company gave not a rat's buttocks. They should stick to making Japanese electronics.

It's not a glass.  It's a coffee mug.  You didn't get yours?

As you can tell from my pick, I'm mainly a Les Paul player. Currently have six of varying flavors. First guitar was a 74 LP Special picked up second hand in summer of 85.  It's been semi-retired as newer guitars have come into the fold.   Also have a couple of SG's.  Have also been somewhat pleased by the direction Cakewalk has gone since Gibson bought them (though admittedly, wasn't sure what would happen in the beginning).

Ever since cakewalk went to a subscription based product, it has elevated to new heights. became an even better software with better changes at an extremely high rate.
thus really showing how great this product can be.

The remaining 1/8ths of the glass is the foamy suds at the top.
