I totally agree with the spirit of this thread. I've been around since Cakewalk for DOS 3 and this is the strongest Cakewalk/Sonar has been.  Gibson seems totally committed to the software.

I don't think any of the other controlling companies were bad at all, but Gibson's doing a great job.

Many kudos.  I would buy you all a Victory Dirt Wolf Double IPA, if I could.

Ditto...    and good choice BTW.   I'm located just down the road from Victory.

Lucky you!  Dirt Wolf is pretty much my favorite sausage/onion/extra cheese pizza ale.  It stands up to it beautifully.  I like it with bacon/cheddar cheese burgers and extra sharp white cheddar cheese too.  A really excellent ale; I also appreciate the unfiltered approach of the brewers on this.

How much different is it on tap?

Uh huh...      The difference is subtle, like most of the taps vs bottle, but it's there.   One that's not so subtle though is Hop Devil on nitro!  Shame it can't be bottled.    FWIW, this past winter my all time favorite Victory brew was a limited run called Java Cask, a coffee bourbon stout.   I miss it.

Sorry for the OT but this is a positive thread after all.

Speaking of coffee-noted brews, see if you can get Rogue Cold Brew IPA.  It's pretty wild. The coffee is really apparent, but in a really cool way.  The only down-side: it may be a seasonal; I'm actually having trouble finding it now (I first saw it about a month and a half ago).

I'd hate to think it was gone already.

Cool, I'll have to keep any eye out for that!
