Cake has rolled out the single biggest NO BRAINER ever!
Back in the "day", every summer would be a "hand wringing" fest.
Will I update, won't I update, I'll only update if...
Along comes rolling updates with monthly payment option.
OMG
On and on we went.
I, for one, have ALWAYS stressed "follow the upgrade path".
Now that path is FREE! OK, not "free" free; but a one shot,
I'm not passing this dude up, no brainer deal.
This is one of those "never look a gift horse in the mouth" deals where
the gift horse is a triple crown candidate.
Get OVER yourselves.

And I have been using Cakewalk since it was on a DOS floppy disk from a company called Twelve Tone.  In fact, I still have a cap with Twelve Tone for the emblem.
