Went to my download after upping to Platinum Lifetime and saw "Platinum Core Plugins" as an available download. Perhaps this is an indication of what is included with the Lifetime option?
Anyone have any idea what is included with this download I can't find any other information?

Are you upgrading from a different version of Sonar, or updating & renewing Platinum?
Platinum has a few bells & whistles not found in the other versions.

The core plug-in installer was introduced about a year ago. I doubt is has anything to do with the recent announcement.

I see by your sig you were Pro, but now Plat.

What you see is what is what we all got as an accumulation of the last 17 months of releases (or from X3 Pro and earlier).

Any updates, fixes or enhancements to that list will now be free for life, including of course updates, fixes and enhancements to Platinum itself.

Nothing in the current CCC list will EVER be taken away.

CW at their discretion may in the future release a new VST, VSTi or ProChannel plug that may come at a cost, much like Rapture Pro which was never included Platinum.

I installed Platinum using the Command Center (very smooth!), but I also see 'Platinum Core Plugins' and 'LANDR' under '2016.05 Update 1' in my user account (along with the 'infinity' sign!!).  Do I need to download and install these separately, or were they actually included in the initial Command Center installation?

Thanks in advance,
G

The core plug-in installer is automatically downloaded and installed by the Command Center. LANDR is installed if you elect to use the LANDR export option. No additional action is needed to get these features when using the Command Center.

Dang, thought I was on to something :)
Interesting that the term "Core" is used in both contexts. Maybe Cake does have a plan?
Yes, I did upgrade from Professional to Platinum.
