Upcoming Reason 9 (which I do not have or use) has a feature that really looks nice to me. The "Note Delay" module is a delay that appears to operate in the MIDI domain, wiht MIDI events assignable to each delay event. For example, each echo event could have a different velocity.

Does Sonar (or Sonar_compatible VST) have such a feature?

There is an Echo Delay MFX but it is not exactly like you describe.

See Week #74 in "Friday's Tip of the Week" for more info on what scook is referencing. The MIDI FX has its own merits.

Interestingly, SONAR could play back 16 simultaneous REX files long before Reason include Octorex. Unfortunately some SONAR features were ahead of their time, didn't get traction, and then fell by the wayside because there didn't seem to be a lot of interest. I've been looking over some of SONAR's "lost technology," and I'd sure like to see some of it refreshed and reintroduced...
