Hello, I Have Been With Cakewalk Since 1999
They Have Always Had A Call Center Thats What
I Loved About The Company. Now Out Of No Where
You Can't Call Anyone, We Have To Email Support To
Get A Call Back. Well I Did This Twice Already And NO CALL BACK..
I Paid 13 months for Platinum And I Cancelled My Subscription
When I Found Out That I Couldn't reach Any One. The Site Says
After 12 months you get to keep The Product, But They Don't Tell
You That Platinum Won't Work After You Stop Paying Monthly!!!
My Number Is XXX-XXX-XXXX (Bobby)

It should not stop working if you stop your monthly payments - you just won't get updates.  if you're saying it did stop working then yes, you need to talk to them about it.  what happens when you try to run sonar? do you get a message or does it not open or what?

PS - I would not recommend publishing your phone number on the forum.  bots will pick that up and your number will get sold to telemarketers and scammers could start calling as well.

You have to rollback to the last version that was paid for, at the 12 month mark. If you don't pay for another full year, then you don't get access to any of the updates that came out after that initial paid year.

That's not correct.  Once you've made 12 consecutive payments the program is yours to keep AT THE POINT YOU STOP PAYING.  So if you make 14 consecutive payments and stop, your version will remain as it was at your 14th payment.

The confusion arises with folk who stop after the 12th payment (owning Sonar), take a break, then start paying again.  When you start paying after a break you get all the intervening updates (latest version) but you still only own Sonar up to the point you stopped paying.  If you then stop again before making another 12 consecutive payments Sonar will revert back to the point you owned it.

I could be wrong, but I think this is incorrect. Once you have paid 12 consecutive months, you keep up to the last month you pay for.

Edit: Karen evidently types faster than I do:)
