Glad it's working. IIRC the Orion mixer isn't great for changing levels to a particular output (I don't really use it since I feed my Orion and Lynx off an RME MADI card). Just use the volume sliders in the External Insert plugin. For latency, click the field right under the word "Delay" in the External Insert plugin where you see it displaying mS and Samples. Remember that you have to set your I/O first and, if the plugin is on a bus, you need to have a track routed to it.

Ok. But how do I calculate to what the latency should be set?

Hm...I'm not sure what you're referring to. You mean the ASIO latency for the Orion, or the delay compensation for an External Insert? For External Insert it will just calculate the delay for you if you click on that field I mentioned earlier. If that's not calculating latency correctly you can change it with the field below that, but it really should work. That plugin calculates the round-trip latency by sending a pulse of sound out your sound card and measuring when it comes back in, so it should be pretty bullet-proof....or at least it always has been for me...

Just remember that if the device connected to the E.I. intentionally delays the audio signal when in operation, such as a reverb or delay effect, the effect itself must be temporarily bypassed when Sonar attempts to measure the delay due to the loop through the device in order for that measurement to be accurate. Once the measurement is done, don't forget to engage the effect again!

Hello there I am new to Orion32 with Sonar X2, And I'm kind of lost here. I want to Monitor my Sonar sessions with the Orion Control Panel and the patch that comes with it right?.
I know I have 5 presets and I saw already these tutorial from Antelope who is not helping me because  when doing so sound wont come out from my speakers.
