I'm trying to adapt to the dark theme.

Console view. Effects, fx bins, sends pre/post switch in are all orange when on.

Send on/off switch is not though. The name of the send is only dimmed when off. The send on/off symbol is not visible. Why?!!

It appears the new Sends Module has no ON/OFF like before. It would be good to read up in the new Sonar Help files about each feature.

Thanks for the report, we'll look into it.  There are a few bits of polish items we're continuing to find and address for 06.

I hope the full UI Themes editor module can also be expected in the 2016.06 update (among other things of course).

It's probably too soon for that. I'd expect at least one more theme over the summer, then a theme editor by year's end. There are still parts of Sonar that are yet to be made theme-aware, so finishing that is most likely the highest priority as far as themes go.

Dan

Couldn't agree more. I could see easily when getting into resources that so many parameters are hard coded, especially colors, that making them theme-aware had to be the first step towards large scale UI customization. Only thing I presumed that major progress might have already been achieved by CW bakers on this front as the target to release this at the beginning of this year was within spring time.

Anyways, I would agree its better if it takes longer and we get a robust and bug-free UI Theme editor.

The theme editor will come before the next official theme from Cakewalk. Its already pretty far ahead in development. We already fixed a few things in Tungsten in Update 1 of 2016.05 that we released today, and the 06 update will have several more tweaks to improve theming support and to the Tungsten theme itself.
As you might imagine, adding dynamic theming support to SONAR was a pretty big project that required a lot of work on the UI besides the graphics design work on the actual Tungsten theme.
We have most bases covered between the light and dark theme, so we are interested in seeing what graphics inclined users come up with once the theme editor is released. If there is enough interest we can even build a community to share themes.

I can almost guarantee providing a way to share themes will be a hit in the community. I'm looking forward to it!

Sounds great Noel ! That was real quick from CW to come up with an update to 2016.05.
Can't wait to have the full featured theme editor. And yes, I think there will be an abundance of interest for theme sharing.
But for now... all eyes on today's announcements
