Hello,

The setting below does not retain the "7Bit Values" after saving, closing and then re-opening a project.

Thank You,
Adam

Can you reproduce it in a new project created from the Basic project template? I just tried it now and the setting retains as expected. But I can reproduce it if I lock the current screenset before changing the setting.

Just tested it, same results here. Works as expected.

But I can reproduce it if I lock the current screenset before changing the setting.

But then would that qualify as what the OP calls a BUG? If you've locked the screenset and then made a change, the change might not be allowed.

Sorry, I should've made it clear. This isn't a bug. :)

I wonder if the OP will change the title.

I've had some issues around whether notes or 7-bit values are shown in different situations - possibly related to the zoom level of the track/lane scale - but haven't really distilled exactly what the symptoms conditions are. It may only occur in projects that originated in an earlier release, in which case it could still be considered a bug even though not reproducible in a new project.

Hmmm, if its an individual setting track by track, not sure what the project template has anything to do with it.  My project template has no tracks.

I suggest you do the following whenever you encounter what seems like a bug:

1. Try reproducing it in a new project created from the Normal or Basic project to see if the issue is project-specific (or specific to your custom project template). If it's project-specific, I don't think there's much we can do about it, so I recommend directly contacting tech support attaching the project.

2. If it's reproducible in the Normal/Basic template, you can post here to make sure it's not a system-specific issue before reporting via Problem Reporter. But don't jump to conclusion that it's a bug and instead put a question mark like "BUG?" in the thread title.

Please let us know if you can reproduce the issue in the Normal/Basic template, and also if your screenset is locked.
