  • Anyway To NOT Label Exported Tracks In File Name?

Hello,
When I bounce track stems, it makes me put a File Name in, which always is appended to the beginning of my track names.  I don't like this as if I ever need to re-import these tracks into a new project, instead of the track just being called "Kick", its going to be called "A001-Kick-1".   (A001 is the file name i gave it to identify the version).

Slight annoyance but just wondering.  Thanks!

There is no chance to do this. The only way is to write a single letter as "_" (underscore) instead of "A001". This will result in "_-Kick".
If you export Clips instead of tracks they are not labeled.

This drives me up the wall. Also the numbers added to the end. I've never found either thing of any help whatsoever. I want the "kick" file to be called "kick", not "songname kick 1".

I'm with the OP. I'm sure there are at least some people that don't use a per-project folder structure, but the vast majority of us do, right? I find it kind of dumb that there isn't an option to disable this ridiculous naming scheme.

Thanks for the app referral. I've downloaded it, and will give it a try.
