Hey guys.  I used an electronic drum kit to trigger Session Drummer instead of a midi keyboard.  It works but Ive noticed a lot of double hits on hi hats etc.  That my fault....Im not a drummer you see.  Now, I could delete the un-needed hits in PRV if only i could see the notes clearly.     For some reason, if I use my midi keyboard for the drums, the notes in PRV are nice and clear (almost like some typed in BOLD) but from using the actual drum kit the notes are...well...skinny if you know what I mean.   Its almost like the note length is very short.
Is there a way for me to select the whole track in PRV and make the notes longer .  Ive tried a screenshot but I cant seem to attach it to the thread  :(      Thanks guys.

In the PVR (Piano Roll View) you can either show the midi as midi notes with a keyboard on the side or a Drum pane with drum notes (if you have a drum map assigned). If you have the drum pane showing then the midi notes will look like little diamonds without length because a drum hit really doesn't have any length.

Now if your midi notes are shown on the normal midi piano view then you can select all (cntl-A) or lasso select all the notes you want and then zoom in and put your mouse near the end of one of the notes. Then you can drag them all out longer.

You can also select all of them and then up in the control bar there is an event inspector. You can type a length in for the notes and they will all get that duration.

Another option, if the duplicate notes are on top of each other, is to run a MIDI CAL file from the menu (I can't remember the exact path to it). CAL files are scripts that run on midi data and do whatever someone has programmed them to do. There is one that is called something like "DeleteDups" or the like.

In my experience, the best way to view duplicates is in the Staff View.

Dups will show on either side of stalk where you can delete one of them.

Note: if you delete one and both disappear, don't panic.
Just hit ctrl + z and just one will be restored.

Thanks guys.  Sorry for not replying. Even though i chose to get instant notifications on this thread...I didnt  :(
So Im just seeing your answers now. I'll try those suggestions.   Ive noticed a couple of weird things going on.  The eraser tool isnt deleting some notes either.  Someone else on this forum is having the same issue.    But right now i need to get the drums edited and delete the extra hi hat notes.  Thanks again.

Hi Reginald...that section you typed  "You can also select all of them and then up in the control bar there is an event inspector. You can type a length in for the notes and they will all get that duration."  might be what i need.
I actually couldnt find the Event Inspector.  I did go into the Even List and was able to change the kick drum hits as a test but I had to edit each hit separately.    But i finally found the event inspector and was able to lasso a few test notes and edit them.  Thanks bro.     I can never seem to get the hang of selecting notes in PRV.  Sometimes id like to move notes and other times you might to leave the original notes where they are and copy them up an octave etc.
