The last part of every can of whipped cream becomes a whippit for me still.

I saw Devo in concert at the Capitol Theater in Passaic NJ in probably ’82.  Greatest encore ever … they did Working in a Coal Mine in what appeared to be a coal mine on stage.

I guess that makes me ancient.

What always cracked me up about Devo was they would come on as their own warmup band (Dove - The Band of Love).

They had fun.

I didn't see Devo, but I have seen several shows at the Capitol Theater.  Lots great memories of that place.  I should have seen more shows back in the day, but it was about an hour north of where I lived.

Best show:  The Stawbs, Ambrosia & Return To Forever.

Worst show:  Rock Pile.  Drove all the way up to Pasaic just to find out that the show was cancelled.  Dave Edmunds was "ill"--the band broke up a few weeks later.

It really was a nice concert venue, in a rough neighborhood.  The first concert I ever saw was there in '78 ... Steven Stills.  I also saw (if I am remembering this correctly) Stevie Ray Vaughn and Motorhead (by far the loudest concert I have ever seen).

Looks very interesting.  I don't have time to read it now, but I will check it out later today.
