My Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 laptop has an Intel Core M5Y1 @ 1.20 GHz  1.40 GHz
8 GB ram / 64 Bit / Windows 8.1
My System is running pretty smooth, definitely not burning. Occasional glitches. I have a simple Focusrite USB Scarlet 2i2 interface.
Will I be disappointed if I upgrade to Windows 10?

Provided you have Win 10 drivers for your peripherals I see no problems. Win 10 is a very good OS and most people find it to run Sonar very well. Check your onboard graphics to make sure they meet Sonar's published specs. There may be an issue with Open GL and the newest Platinum plugs.

Thanks! What are onboard graphics and Sonar's ublished specs? A little more info would be great. Not very techy here.

Most laptops don't have a dedicated graphics card and use the onboard graphics chip. There's something about the new LP EQ and multi band comp that require up to date graphics drivers. Make sure that the drivers for your machine are current. Thee's other threads around that go into this in more detail.
 
IF you don't have Platinum then it's not an issue, as those plugs are for Platinum only..... I think.
