Hey everyone I recently updated to the latest version of Platinum (22.5.0.40) and I was in the understanding that it would have some new features, specifically the LP EQ and MB. But I cannot for the life of me see how I can launch them. They're not listed anywhere I would expect them to be...

Anyone have a clue?

They are not Prochannel effects.  I think you can find them in the VST3 effects if I remember correctly.  You have to drag them into an effects bin as you would a third party (non-prochannel) effect.

Also, isn't there a separate installer for these? "Engineering FX Suite". Make sure you've included that in your setup.

Yah thanks for the reply but I've tried both options and I still have no luck.  I tried going through the media browser to find the LP EQ plugin but I can't seem to find the folder in the VST2 or VST3 folders. Plus I would think that another way is to go to the FX bin and add the plugin there as well; which I don't see them listed there as an option of effects.  Not to mention that I installed the Engineering FX suites multiple times now.  So I'm starting to reach the point of frustration now because I don't see any documentation that clearly shows the steps on being able to launch these new features other than just going to the command center and downloading them.

Thanks anyways guys...

Go into the Plugin Manager. Do a RESET followed by a RESCAN.

Did you rescan your vst? Look for vst3> EQ>LPEQ

the LP EQ and MB are in the 2016.04 update...not in the 2016.05 update ... you will find it in the Engineering FX suite.

I also noted that the engineering effects suite has the same type of rolling update to match the early release. Right click, and at the bottom has the newest rollback for suite. Kinda confusing terms. Good luck.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback I will definitely go back and recheck those option you all had mentioned here.

As far as the versions are concerned,  I thought that any updates/changes from a previous update would be carried over to the newest (2016.04 > 2016.05), so I was expecting that those features would be included in the 2016.05 update.  If I were to install the 2016.04 update; hoping the those plugins will be found, then install the 2016.05 update would that then take away those plugins if they're not included?

Anyways, thanks again guys I will follow those suggestions you all had posted...
