I've already escaped a couple on that list and managed to avoid a few of the others...  No thanks for me!

Hey
Houston is way more awesome than most people realize.

Lots and lots of great paying jobs.  Extremely low cost of living.  No taxes.  More strip joints than any other city in USA - Including Vegas.

Sorry, ol pal.  I been to Houston.  But only Dean Martin would "go back" to it.  And then only metaphorically:-)

And Glenn Campbell to Galveston.

10. New York, NY

Arts & Culture Index: 100
Recreation Index: 100

That would make it No 1 in my book. :P

Tourists, cab drivers and people from New Jersey - ;) - probably make NY lose a few points though...

A few years ago Vegas would have been on that list. If it wasn't for it's bad reputation. I guess any place is what you make of it. I'm suprised Denver isn't on there.

Yeah, I'd put Denver on that list (or Colorado Springs).

It's been a long time since I was in Houston, but it would not make my list of places I'd want to dream about.  I'd take Dallas and San Antonio before Houston.

Seattle's a good choice and Portland, OR is pretty cool in my book.

I'm number 6??? And totally surprised.  I mean, the tv stations keep calling us "America's Finest City"... And it's CLEAN here (next to LA, it anyway)... But HIP?  Hmmm.  Maybe I COULD find a manager here.  :D
