IIRC UAD plugins are installed in Program Files/Steinberg/Vstplugins. You will need to add that location in Preferences (P), File, Vst Settings.
All the best.

I get mine tomorrow. Stoked about it. Am still a bit put off by some of the hardware and monitoring issues they are having on their forums but I'll go back through every single setting before I hook it up to make sure everything is ready for it to be plugged in and used.

Do you always have sonar set to 1024 /44.1 24 bit or do u use a faster setting while recording.? . I'm still getting crashes. When I try to export a project it doesn't have the UAD SOUNDS.
I'm also getting the message "one or more UAD PLUG-INS have been disabled the plugin was unable to load."

Wondering if I need to switch to Windows 10?

FWIW I held on to W7 for a long time because I didn't like W8 at all. I eventually switched over to Windows 10, and now I wish I'd done it sooner. I'm sure there must be problematic scenarios, but I haven't encountered any.

Hi, Pascal. You should / will be able to use the Apollo Twin on your pc. I tried one briefly, before i bought my current audio interface. When / if you get it, make sure to update both firmware and software, and keep windows up to date.

All the best.

The combination works fine.

Avoid 3rd-party USB3 controllers.
If you have a recent make Intel motherboard, use an Intel USB3 port.

I borrowed one until my RME arrived. I needed extra inputs, and could not afford the Apollo 8 or 16.
