I’m sitting on my K10U until K12U pops.

I have version 10 Ultimate and I do not update.
At the moment I don't use NI. The library is not as great as I thought.

I didn't deem the 11 upgrade "worth it".

Depends what type of projects you're working on right now. Check out the list of additional instruments and effects and decide whether these would add value to your music. The extra instruments may or may not fit in with what you're into right now.

I'm still on K9 and I got a similar offer. Nothing I want for that much money.

Yeah, that's the way I felt when it first came out. I'm doing a lot of scoring these dazed and the symphonic stuff seemed like it might be worth it, but I'm with you I think I'm going to wait until 12 comes out and see what it has. Thanks for all the advice!

I have 10U and decided to just update to K11. It saved me a hunski and I can get back into Ultimate any time I want.

I think it depends on how much you use K10U. I haven't used mine as much as I thought I would, so in my case an upgrade would simply be GAS unless a future need developed.
If you're short on cash check out what AIR offers. Some decent stuff for a lot less.All depends on what you want to do.
