I have to check this "up-sampling" thing out. Sounds really promising. The ability to improve the sound of your samples? Could be a game changer.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm but that isn't what upsampling does.
Definitely not sarcasm. Not sure why you would think that. I guess I just misunderstood it. Sorry if my ability to grasp complex audio technology isn't up to your specifications. (And I am not being sarcastic here either. Just tired of being devalued by people who, because they know more, attribute ulterior motives where there are none).
I wouldn't dare to "devalue" you! If I gave that impression I'm sorry. I really just couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or making a joke. The upsampling feature is supposed to prevent foldback distortion (basically unwanted noise/sound) that occurs when you process audio that has a lot high frequency in it (or an effect plug in that generates it). Despite the name, it doesn't really "improve" your samples.
