I upgraded to X2 a little while back, and found that Sonar no longer recognized Rapture as a registered product. I tried to reregister through the dialog box that popped up, but it says my registration number (confirmed by looking at my account on Cakewalk) is not correct. If I try to reregister through the website, it says my product is already registered. I thought I would just download the program files again, but there is no longer a link on the site. I hoped that the X2a upgrade would fix the problem, but it did not. Any suggestions as to how I get Rapture registered again? Thanks, juan

BTW, if you were using an older version of Rapture, and want to use any programs and samples that you added to Rapture make sure to save them before running the patch.

That didn't work either. I installed the patch, it asked for registration information and accepted it when I entered it, then when trying Rapture within Sonar or as a stand alone, it still says my version is not registered. I've emailed Cake - see if I get a solution from them. Thanks, juan

Was it resolved? I am having the same problem after installing 1.2.2.

I had the same problem. I'm using X3. I uninstalled Rapture and deleted the patch files, and downloaded fresh patch upgrades from Cakewalk. I reinstalled it in Windows 7 64 bit as an administrator. This worked!
 
On another note, I rebooted my computer after deleting the old patch files. On reboot, I got a Windows message telling me that my Recycle Bin was corrupt. So, I'm guessing that my old download files might have gotten corrupted.
 
I had to reload the Expansion Packs. There were some permission problems with them, but after fixing those everything loaded up nicely.
