Hi All,  I have purchased every producer version upgrade since Sonar 4. And loved all the transitions. However, I am currently in Sonar X3 Pro, and for the first time have not upgraded yet. My main use is straight forward audio recording with my Rode K2 as my go to mic with mostly acoustic and vocals. And then I also due a fair shake of midi sample using mostly my east west packages of orchestra gold, and goliath. I do not do any disco/techno stuff. I'm not sure there's anything new that can improve on for what I do. Vocalsync is interesting but Vvocal does a stellar job with that along with all the other things it does. (maybe the new midi engine that sounds like they fixed the stuck note problem)
Anyway,  Do any users such as myself find the upgrade to be useful? and if so the one time pay or the monthly. Opinions?

I think you will find Sonar Platinum is ideal for your needs.

X3 to Platinum is quite an improvement IMO. The Melodyne functionality alone was worth the upgrade, not to mention the improved routing and other changes.

V-Vocal requires a minimal install of X3. This can be performed using the X3 advanced install option.

I thought melodyne essential was the plug distributed with X3. Is not V-Vocal an X2 goodie?
