So I guess that's why you're using SONAR instead of Pro Tools.

SONAR doesn't force people to buy into 3rd party software. Whether to buy something or not is your choice alone. And the only kind of "subscription" that forces you to do anything is one where your software won't work if you don't pay up. That's not how Cakewalk rolls.

I do not get the LANDR hate :P. I mean it is something I can't see using, but so what? Sonar comes with a lot of things I don't use. Doesn't hurt anything.

I have LP 64 EQ and LP 64 Multiband and they don't look anything like the plugins in the docs.

Are these new plugins installed with a different name?

EDIT: Never mind, I found them under the VST3 category.

Here's what I meant to ask:

Will the new 64-bit VST3's be installed in the path that I specify for 64-bit plugins in CCC when in verbose mode? From a previous experience loading the Rapture Pro VST3, this specified path was ignored, and Rapture Pro VST3 was installed in a completely different, presumably default, directory.

VST3 spec dictates the location for the .vst3 files.

I had the dropouts on midi as well.  I changed the midi playback buffer to 500.  That seemed to cure the problem for me.  As was suggested in an earlier post, changing the mode to non-linear, allows operation a 0 latency.  Gradually figuring things out here.  It's really an excellent EQ and Multiband.

I rarely post regarding updates, but this time the updates to the LP EQ and MB Compressor are worth a mention. I've been waiting for these since the first hint of them a couple of months ago. The compressor, in particular, has been a mainstay on my Master Bus since I first installed it way back when..... It's such a useful plug-in, and now I can see many more uses. It also seems a little less CPU intensive too which is a bonus on my 32bit install. I may even be able to use it on individual tracks as well.
Well Done.

Andrew Rossa [Cakewalk]
Overloud TH3 Cakewalk Edition features more refined and detailed algorithms, improved cabinet IR responses ...

Andrew - Cabinet IR is greyed-out in mine (like all of the other components not included in the Cake edition). Is there something wrong here?

Thanks so much for this post.  I've been playing around with the LP EQ for many days, and it's sweet.  But I frikkin' couldn't find the LP MB until I saw this.  The EQ is in my VST2 folder, but the LP MB is in my VST3 folder in a sub menu???  I have some serious house-cleaning to do.
