another bonehead question.
 
i've been trying to run the Two Note WoS plugin.
 
i installed and uninstalled and reinstalled the 32bit AND 64 bit versions.
 
i see the dll in the proper VST folder. blah blah... Sonar no looky.
 
anyone else have an issue with this app?
 
looks pretty good.
really likin' the cabinet IR approach. 
 
currently using reCab 5 and Poulin's leCab.
 
sounds great with my Boss GT-100 preamps driving them.
 
any help appreciated.

yes.
 
i have been on a VST frenzy lately. even set up Plug-In Layouts (pretty cool).
 
so, i am constantly, scanning and re-scanning my VSTs.
 
still no show.

Do bear in mind that any new VST's won't be added to your custom layout, they only get added to the Default All Plugins menu.

yes, i understand that.
 
now i am on a mission to clean up my VST madness.
 
i have moved ALL my VST files from my designated VST folder. but missing VSTs still show up when i add an FX to a channel strip.
 
i haven't loaded a custom plugin layout. just the default.
 
how can i clean up this mess?
 
still no Two Note Wall of Sound VST showing up.
 

 
 

 
 

i uninstalled Sonar - sanitized my registry.
 
reinstalled Sonar.
 
all is ok.
 
what a mess those VSTs can become.
