What's the best budget way to split A/E or electric guitar to 2 pedals/amps? I've got 2 Fishman Aura Spectrums and was thinking about how I could run my Martin GPCPA5K into both, and that led to thinking about doing similar things with my electrics. I have certainly done DI'd guitars, and run a 2nd line back out input 2 on my Fender amps and I know there are units like the Radials, but I am wondering about the lower budget (still quality) options.
 
Anyone?
 
I have a Radial X-Amp that will allow "reamping" my Martin to both Spectrums, after tracking it DI'd. What about "before"?

I'd have thought a simple AB/Y pedal would do the job (similar to bb's final link) (possibly one with a groundlift switch if such a thing is available).

Some tuners also have 2 outs. I think the Boss TU2 does.

If your signal is buffered by either active electronics or any pedal with a buffered bypass (i.e. any Boss pedal, many MXR and others), you can just use a Y cable and be done with it.

Wow, thanks guys! This is great. I have owned a ton of gear over the past 52+ years but after Chapter 7 and starting over I realized I have not been able to keep up with all the new stuff out there and do your suggestions make that clear!
The Radial Big Shot seems like the one, but I'll go through them all and post back. I can imagine all of them having particular uses in my studio set up.
I used to have a TU2 but don't recall that option. I'll check into that one, too. 
I recall the Palmer Triage as being "very interesting" when I first saw it, but forgot about that one!
 
I don't know if my Martin's Fishman preamp is buffered or not but will check into that, thanks.

With guitars, pretty much anything with a battery/power buffers the signal when it's in the signal path.
 
The significance of FX pedals with "buffered bypass" is that the signal is still buffered even when the pedal is in bypass mode.
 
Generally speaking, if you get no signal when you remove the battery/power then it's probably buffered already and you will gain little or nothing by adding expensive doodads further down the chain.
