After downgrading I have to launch with Command Center to stay out of demo mode, but the new plugs work now. Small price to pay for being able to use the new powerful tools rolled out.

Anybody know if Cakewalk's working on a fix?

It's a rumor. I have not read anything from CW staff reassuring us that the problem "will" be fixed. It would be nice if someone officially said something, unless I missed it. This seems like more of a "design" that went in another direction that left many of us out in the cold.
 
Don't think it will be fixed or at least no time soon. My bat senses been going off like crazy! LOL! Other than a redesign of those plugins, which I doubt, it's probably not easy to fix this. Again, just my guess.

we never know in advance if something is getting fixed, only when the fix appears in an update; this is of course good business sense, to manage user expectations
 
however, if a new component needs a certain version of OpenGL then this should have been explicitly stated with its release; again, managing customer expectations

Roll back to Windows 7 get kicked into demo mode. Roll up to windows 10 no LP EQ or LP MB screen. Sheesh, maybe it's time I buy a new computer.

If your old one is 8 years old possibly so, but desktops are easy to upgrade components. If you specs ( you should post them) are up to snuff, you could just slap in a  brand new (with drivers) video card for $40. 

I hate to even ask this but I finally bought the subscription for these tools and I can not find them what am I missing?
