Hi, I just downloaded and installed the latest SPLAT update from the Command Center and I notice now that my Addictive Drums 1 & 2 are both missing from the Instruments.  I've repaired them on the XLN site and it says they are good to go, they're nowhere to be found SPLAT...any ideas?

Thanks

Hi. Did you use the XLN online installer (I think you have to)? If so, did you do a vst scan afterwards? If it does not show after doing this, you might want to do a vst reset, followed by a vst scan. Check rescan both existing and failed plugins. Hope it helps.
All the best.

Hi Ken, thanks for the help. I did use the latest XLN installer and it informed me that all of my products are up to date. I can start each AD1 and AD2 as stand-alones. I have Mixcraft7 Pro installed on my computer because I use that at the school that i teach at and both of the AD drums are present as VST instruments there.

I have added the XLN folder to the VST search but am still unsuccessful at adding them to my SPLAT

 Any more ideas?

Thanks all- still no luck finding the plug-ins. Done a few re-scans, re-sets, rescans to no avail.

Double check that the dll is in the folder you added to the scan list.

Are AD1 and AD2 present in the Plug-in manager's list of instruments ?
If not then check the path you added for AD's.
During the VST scan, can you see AD1 and AD2 being scanned ? May be hard to catch depending on your PC.
My VST search path for AD's is c:\program files\common files\vst2 (the XLN installer default).
Both AD1 and AD2 dlls are in this folder.

Hey Microapp, Ad1 & Ad2 are not in the plug in manager's list and they are not in the 'common files' folder like they are on your PC. Can I just drag them into that folder?

You can try it. It won't hurt.
You could also locate the AD dll's and put in that path.
They are
Addictive Drums.dll
Addictive Drums 2.dll
search for these and put in the parent folder path.
