Yep.  He bugged the heck out of me (having been a dart player for over 30+ years and knowing many of the older pro guys), but was also a member of a forum that I'm a senior moderator on so it's still sad to hear the news early this morning.  We never knew where he was coming from but he certainly gave people something to talk about.

I remember him commenting on one of Eric Bristow's matches in which he uttered the immortal line - "here we go, it's cruise missile time again" in that wonderfully annoying accent.

aye it's sad, did much to smooth the transition of darts from BDO to PDC in the casual fans' minds...
