Morning update:

Wow, looks like Teams US and GB finished strong!

A Gold in the "Medaling" event for Team US and I give the Silver to Team GB because I'm sure China will be disqualified for doping soon.

finally a chart that ranks by gold medals.. just like the good old days!..

methinks the marquee moment was the mens 800m.. one world record, 7 personal best times, and the last place finish (GB) ran a time that would have won gold in beijing.. now THAT is what i call a race
